Ask and it shall be given

Recently i was amused to see such a furore being raised in Britain due to a sting by the guardian which caught mps divertin public funds for private uses .the intensity of the storm was so fierce that no one was spared and even some big heads rolled leavin the prime minister gordon profusely sweating . and for it was all sounded overblown .after all in india here its somethin which happens everyday just like the sun rises every day . u dont need a guardian sting to know it .everybody knows it happens .so i really couldnt figure out why is somethin which causes such a furore in britain is evokes not even a ripple in india ?and then the answer hits u like a hammer in ur head.its dint cause a similar reaction because we never demanded it.we never asked for it.and then u realise the mother of all our pbms .we never ask .i mean when was the last time did we hear about somethin called public anger in our country ?my guess is probably sometime around 1947.anythin is 'chaltha hai for us'.gas tragedy in bhopal ?no big deal .indira gandhi declareds an emergency ?no sweat .one man simmers an entire state in a communalist pyre .coool. 12pakistani men hold hostage the entire nation for three days blaaah.we are more worried that the england india series is called off. i just cant understand .why is that nothin almost nothin evokes a response from us .how can we be so non challant abt such matters of life and death .sometimes my worst fear is one day china might invade india and considerin our ageing crumblin archaic military secure an easy victory and establish its colonial rule in india and still india may not wake up .maybe this is far fethced. but wat isnt far fetched is the fact that we will never have non corrupt politics because we will never ask for it .we will never have an untainted parliament because we will not demand it .after all forget demandin we wont even cast our vote to a better candiate our healthcare will continue to be in shambles because we wont rise up for reforms .our children will not get quality education because we wont raise our voices abt it .and we will never have an astute foreing policy because we dont demand anythin from the government ,the goverment for its part will never ask for anythin from the world community meekly givin into their demands which is why we will never deter pak and china for fomentin terrorism here because the government wont push for it.all well do is brag to whomsoever hears that we are goin to be a superpower by 2020 !!!pathetic pathetic plight .

idea of justice

sometimes u end up in an peculiar state when u just cant make up ur mind whether to laugh or cry .last week the bug hit me when i read that the scottist judiciary was releasin the lockerbie bomber on compassionate grounds .and i really couldnt decide whether to cry foul over the travesty of justice or to gawk at the tamasha playin out .i just cant understand. A judiciary is meant to uphold justice.then how can the scottish judiciary mete out such a huge injustice ?how is that only the animal who blew up the flight deserves compassion and all those innocent people who lost their lives and loved ones in the blast dont ?where is the compassion to all those husbands who lost their wives ?to those wives who lost husbands ?to those children who lost families and to those families who lost their children ?to all those for whom life became a living hell?.all because one animal couldnt stand the love and happiness in their loves .and its that animal whom the judge wishes to have a happy life baskin in the glory of his barbaric act .why cant the judge understand the pain and sufferin the animal inflicted ?why cant he feel the angst that all those who lost their loved ones in that accident will have to undergo the pain again at seein the animal walk away free to a heros reception and their powerlessness to do anythin ?is human life so cheap ?doesnt the right for justice of all those victims matter .god pls save this world from this so called justice
